A Kit is the container for a query and reply over the network. While the communications is done via Packets, they typically are used to build the query and reply of a Kit. A simple message is a DNS query over UDP. In this case it is a single packet for the query and another for the reply. An HTML query might be a single Packet, but the reply will typically be multiple Packets. The Kit Object contains a large amount of information about what kind of data it is and how it is handled. The Kit itself is in a unique Branch. The Branch can contain the query and reply in Fact Objects, a Log, and other information. |
