Biography of John J. Kozlowski, Jr.
|

John was born on February 1, 1956 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, to
a career Army Dad. He grew up in and around Santa Barbara, California. He volunteered for
the United States Air Force and served five years in the U.S. and Europe. John has spent
over 20 years in the computer business designing and manufacturing hardware and developing
software. He developed an electronic ignition system for the Harley Davidson motorcycles
and holds a patent from that work. Richard Schardt and John started Heritage Systems
Corporation in 1984. As president and the sole engineer for HSC, he developed products
that are used on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange, by the Department of
Defense, NASA, Ore-Ida Foods, Dale Electronics, and many others. He developed a computer
system used to run the machines that knit socks in many countries of the world. |

Microsoft Corporation has certified John as one of
approximately 6,000 Microsoft Certified Solution Developers worldwide (summer 1997
figures). |

On May 19, 1990, John wed Miss Dorothy-Jane Cross. They have
four children. ErikaLeigh was born on March 22, 1991, Joey (John J. Kozlowski, III) was
born November 12, 1992, Tirzah Marie was born July 2, 1995, and the fourth is due just
before the May 1998 primary. The six of them live in Reeds, just outside of Lexington,
North Carolina. |

John has been active in church and the pro-life movement
since 1984. He has served as treasurer and Sunday school teacher at church. John has
served nine years as either treasure or chairman of the Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center.
He served two years as president of Greensboro Right to Life and on the board of North
Carolina Right to Life |
